Asparagus FestivalEmpire Asparagus Festival – Saturday, June 7

Celebrate all things asparagus at Empire's beloved festival. The day kicks off at 10 AM with the "Kick-Yer-Assparagus" 5K Fun Run/Walk. Enjoy a recipe contest at noon, the "Ode to Asparagus" poetry contest at 2 PM, and live music throughout the day. Don't miss the unique sight of "Miss Asparagus on Stilts" and a children's magic show. Local food vendors and breweries will be serving up asparagus-inspired dishes and drinks until 6 PM. 


Leland Wine & Food FestivalLeland Wine & Food Festival – Saturday, June 14

The Leland Wine & Food Festival is back! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Leland Harbor, this festival runs from 12 PM to 6 PM. Sample wines from Northern Michigan's finest wineries, savor gourmet foods, and enjoy live music. With 'Come & Go' re-entry wristbands, attendees can explore Leland’s beaches, boutiques, galleries, and the iconic Historic Fishtown, then return for more festival fun.


Suttons Bay Art & Wine WalkSuttons Bay Summer Artisan & Wine Walk – Friday, June 20

From 5 PM to 8 PM, stroll through downtown Suttons Bay, exploring local shops and meeting talented artists. Sample wines, ciders, and brews from Leelanau County, enjoy live music, and participate in a community art project—a giant paint-by-number mural led by local artist Annie from Wild Lettie. Collect stamps from participating businesses for a chance to win a $200 Suttons Bay shopping spree.


Leelanau Farmers MarketFarmers Markets – Weekly

  • Leland Farmers Market: Thursdays, 9 AM – 1 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
